| I stopped at Stilfserjoch on my way back from a hiking week around San Caterina Valfurva and went up the Rötlspitze. The weather could have been a bit better, but it was a nice and quite simple hike all the same. Same as around the Pizzini and Casati huts, where I had been just before, one finds remains of World War I all over the place, particularly on the plateau behind Dreisprachenspitze, this time in form of hundreds and hundreds of empty and completely rusty food cans... | |

| Climbed the panoramic Trafoier Höhenweg and made a detour to Dreisprachenspitze. From there climbed the traverse to Rötlspitz. Wonderful panoramas the whole day. | |
