A great peak to hike over on your way to Telescope Peak
Nice views and some kind of communications system on top but if you’re on your way to Telescope it’s worth the few extra feet of gain to “bag” it. Same thing with Bennet walk over it on your way to Telescope.

on the way down
Caught both on the return trip from Telescope, then took the service road down to the campground. Found a register on Bennett but not on Rogers.
Took my 2wd up to Thorndike Campground, was a bit steep and I was nervous driving above Charcoal Kilns but if my 2wd can make it than anyone's can. Didn't push my luck going further. Hiked up the service road to Rogers, then up and over Bennett before heading on to Telescope, then took the trail back down to Mahogany campground and the road back to the car.

Wind Made it Fun
Squatted Bennett and Rogers on the way back from Telescope. Having 50mph winds knock us down and some required crawling made these two peaks waaaay more interesting than they ordinarily would be.

w/ Telescope. Bennett gives a great view of Telescope, and the hike from Rogers down to Mahogany Flat is very pleasant.
Got my first look at this pair when doing Telescope with Caz and Ang my first week in Death Valley. I came back the next week to knock these two out. I parked at Mahogony Flats and took the service road to Rogers' summit, there I was greeted by a bobcat and a bunch of concrete. I hit Bennet from the saddle and took the telescope trail back to the car.

Bennett on the way back from Telescop
I hiked up to the top of Bennett on the way back from Telescope, but it was getting dark by the time I neared the base of Rogers, so I skipped it (late midday start, and the snow would not have been fun coming down the service road in the dark after long hikes/runs for the past 6 days in a row)...maybe next time I'm nearby; the views would be nice and easily attainable.

After an ascent of Telescope...this peak is a joke with all the junk on top but it's higher than Bennett!

All Three Peaks
Rogers and Bennit are sort of lame peaks compared to Telescope but they do make for a good add-on.
