Yes - still another 6-700 m of the 1250m to go. This shortcut saves about 6 km of biking and another 6 km of hiking but you do the same elevation gain in half the distance so it is a good workout.

Romulus shortcut

Do you have any other photos? I'd like to try it this weekend. What about grid points?

That has the rest of the photos in Summitpost.
The key is to cross the river at the low point in the trail where the trail is closest to the river and where the creek comes in from the south off Glasgow.
