Indeed, solitude! But: on the other side of the chain you see, there is thetourist center #1 of Fuerteventura. And don't think you'll get solitude there!

This (the northern side) is lonesome only because you have to drive a 10 mile potholed dirt road (or hike across a saddle halfway up the chain). Thus, only about 30 cars make it that far each day. On the 10 mile pristine beaches people get lost and you seem to have the whole area to yourself.

The place from where I took this shot - nobody ever gets there. The dirt road is even longer and you have to hike along the coast for about 6 miles. Ando tourists don't go to FV to hike ...
