Last Minute Snowshoe TripI had been invited on this trip for several days, but first I thought I would be out of the state during the summit trip and then I thought I would be needed at home that day. When neither happened, and when asked again by the group, I made the last-minute decision to go. We snowshoed the entire trip from Highway 97; it was an easy and enjoyable snowshoe trek, especially considering the snow conditions and weather forecast. The peak is not one to brag about, but a summit is a summit.
