Route between Unista (720m)...

Route between Unista (720m) and Bat (1854m). It isn't marked and because of the mine danger it is important that you stick to it. Return the same way.

Re: Interesting info

Thanks Dean! It was possible to do it here because whole route is visible and quite necessary too because approach isn't marked and there is danger of mines around.

Re: Interesting info

Mines. That certainly adds more to a hike than one would normally want. Also interesting was the fact that you were the first to do this in 9 years. So sad when a country has to deal with war and internal conflict. Congrat's to you for having the courage to do this knowing that there were mines in the area. A very beautiful place.

Re: Interesting info

I agree with Dean that is it sad that a country has had to deal with so much conflict and that the effects of war linger for so long.

Re: Interesting info

Yes Dean and Wildstar, it's terrible, and clearing of nature is last priority! First priorities are populated areas. And I don't know if mountains will ever be cleared, when I look at the space I just don't know how it can be done and there are no field plans because everybody planted mines. This problem will linger for decades to come. There is no month that someone doesn't step on the mine. Mankind is so stupid, when you look at what we have been given and the way we are acting on this planet it is just so sad.
