Approach

From Sisters, drive west on Hwy 242 for 1.4 miles, turn left on FS road 15. Proceed for 10.5 miles, following signs to Pole Creek Trailhead.

Route Description

Gain the ridge from the east via Diller Glacier or from the south via Chambers Lakes and follow it to the Summit. Beware next to Diller Glacier due to the crevasses reaching all of the way to the ridge.

Essential Gear

A rope is most likely not needed but in early season it might be wise to pack crampons and a ice axe. However throughout most of the season, the ridge is exposed rock/scree and technical equipment is probably not necessary.
