Approach


Approach via Minaret Lk. trail. Above Minaret lk. climb up to Cecile lk. and head west toward red patch on lower face of peak. climb into chute 'behind' red patch and climb chute until it emerges on ledge running across lower E. face of Clyde.

Route Description


On face of Clyde there are 3 chutes. The central chute is your goal. Study face from Cecile lk. as it is a bit tough to tell which is the proper chute once on the face. climb the chute over easy ground and you will be gradually pushed to the N wall of the chute. Class five climbing leads back into the center of the the chute and then 1 more class 5 move leads to easier ground and the top of the summit arete. An easy class 4 downclimb of 10' will lead to the summit block.

A few medium sized pieces of passive pro and some slings. Helmet!
