Approach

Approach via Minaret Lk. trail. Above Minaret lk. climb up to Cecile lk. and head west toward red patch on lower face of peak. climb into chute 'behind' red patch and climb chute until it emerges on ledge running across lower E. face of Clyde. On face of Clyde there are 3 chutes. Study the face from Cecile lk. as it is a bit tough to tell which is the proper chute once on the face. Your goal is the right hand (northern)chute.

Route Description

Start up the right hand (northern) chute. As you climb pick the easiest way. You will find yourself at a choice of 2 secondary chutes. Take the right hand chute and enjoyable class four climbing leads up an inside corner for a full rope length to the top of an arete. Turn left and climb a class 3 face to a short 10' class four downclimb leading to the summit block.

Essential Gear

An assortment of slings, helmet!
