Approach

From the Taschachhaus, you go on the little marked way to the Taschachglacier, above the icebreak, below the Taschachwand, with direction to the Gamsköpfle (rockspur). There you climb the rocks up to the Gamsköpfle and then you go with S-direction to the foot of the northface.

Route Description

It is an easy northface with a regular steepness of 45°-50°. It does not have seracs. It is ideal for beginners of northface-climbing or as training, especially in late summer with pure, hard ice. It is 150 hm high. You need 1 h if you are quick.

Essential Gear

2 ice-axes, crampons, ropes.
