Approach

See the description on the main page on how to get to the Bluemlisalp-Hut.
From there you cross the glacier south-west ward and pass behind the
"Ufem Stock" Peak keeping to its left. You now go down to the next
glacier-level directly to the base of the Bluemlisalphorn.

Route Description

There are many options to choose your personal route. From simple 45-55 degree Snow
plodding to near-vertical hard ice sections everything is possible.
The route you can find on the topo below is an old one, you can see
some more on my newer photo.

Essential Gear

Same as for all Ice North Faces in the area. Usually there is no belaying needed
unless you have hard ice. Then a few screws are helpful. (rope needed for glacier travel anyway)
A Snow stake or Deadman might be useful, too, depending on time of year.
