Summer: From the Fridolin huts follow the path to the Gruenhorn hut (2448 m). Descend (fixed cable) to the Bifertenfirn and walk up on this glacier. Near Schneerus leave the glacier and reach point 2738 (gelbe Wand). Either follow to the top of this rock peninsula or step on the glacier again and climb beneath the Porta da Gliems. Then go north to the saddle between Piz Russein and Glarner Toedi and visit easily all of the trilogy.

Winter: Step on the glacier at the Fridolin huts and try to get a way through the icefall on the west side. Depending on the snow and glacier condition, you may either just walk up on your skis or you might have to carry them and climb with crampons. 5 - 6 hours.
