Approach
When standing south of the mountain, at or around Kebnekaise fjällstation, the route starts at the left gorge (west).
Route Description
There is a very distinctive trail, which goes steeply upwards, takes you over a lesser peak, goes down again a hundred meters or so, and takes you up the final ascent up to Kebnekaise. On the top there is a glacier, eg big pile of ice/snow. That is the highest peak in Sweden - the southpeak of Kebnekaise.
Essential Gear
You must have equipment for walking on the top glacier. The surface may be soft snow, or hard ice. An ice-axe or crampons.
