Approach

From Vacheresse to the alpages and Hut of Bise. Then to the Pas de la Bosse.

Route Description

From the Pas de la Bosse, the Couloir du Saix Rouquin begins at the left. The route is marked with chamois heads painted on the rocks.

Ascend the whole steep couloir. Several rocky steps are easy to climb. Notice an opening in the rocks on the left making a window looking at the Bise valley before the grass covered summit.
