Approach

From Randa stroll up broken rock until you reach a obvious shoulder at the right side at the top of the big stonefields(Gross Kastel). Here are good bivak-sites.

Route Description

This route was climbed by Kim Van Hove, Matthias Blonde, Filip Werniers from Belgium a few years ago. It's a climb over very poor rock with moderate difficulties. The climb follows a very nice line in this big rock face, but is not recommended due to stonefall-danger and rotten rock with poor protection.

Essential Gear

crampons and ice-axe, rock gear (pitons, nuts)

Miscellaneous Info

If you have information about this route that doesn't pertain to any of the other sections, please add it here.

"Got tight last night on absinthe and did knife tricks. Great success shooting the knife into the piano. The woodworms are so bad and eat hell out of all furniture that you can always claim the woodworms did it."   --Ernest Hemingway
