Route DescriptionFrom Boundary Lake, your intermediate goal is the low point between Bartlett Peak and the unnamed outcropping to its right (Point 8219). Cliffs along the east shore of the lake make direct progress difficult; these can be avoided by first heading north from the lake over granite slabs and working your way around first to the east and then southeast through granite, granite, and more granite.
From the saddle, you should see some overhanging cliffs that lead almost to the summit; you may have spotted these in profile if viewing the peak from the vicinity of Cherry Creek. The peak can likely be climbed via some friction slabs to the right (east) of these cliffs. If you prefer an easier route, contour around the east side of the peak where you should meet a small lake. Hike past the west shore of the lake up to the saddle between Bartlett Peak and the unnamed summit to its east; from here, drop down a few feet to the west and scramble up some easy granite slabs. From these slabs, it's an easy walk to the summit.
