Approach

From Corvara take the lifts up to Kostner hut (watch out this year the second part of the lift is under renovation, so for this year -2003- preview an hour to walk from the first stop of the lift to Kostner hut).

Route Description

From Kostner enter into the valley between the hut and Piz da Lech.
Go up the valley aiming at a "col"
There you will find some metallic ropes. These ropes are there only to protect, you will not need to use to climb (actually is a walk).
At this point you will reach the "plateau", follow the path, turn around and reach a very large balcony. Continue until you pass over the "lec dlace'" (a small lake) and you reach the top of Cresta Strenta. From there you will see the top of Piz Boe'. It can be a good idea to have your sandwich there to avoid the crowd on Piz Boe'.
Continue on the ridge and you will be on Piz Boe' in about 20 min.

Essential Gear

Via Ferrata equipment. High mountain equipment. remember that, even if the path is an easy one, you are at about 3000 meters and the weather can quickly change. Do not go there with bad weather, it exposed to lightnings.
