Approach

Take the east fork on the Salmon River (38.6 Miles east of Stanley)

17.8 Miles from the highway turn off onto Big Boulder Creek Road

4 miles to the west you will park at Livingston Mill and begin your journey.

Where FST-047 intersects FST-684 you will travel northeast through the trees. Once you clear the trees look for a path running north that will lead you to lake 9419

Route Description

This route ascends the north side of the peak and starts at lake 9419.

From the lake head directly west and climb the headwall. Follow the talus slope to the south staying close the cliff below you. The talus slope will ends at the mouth of the prominent gully. Be careful in this area and wear your helmet as loose rock is very plentiful here.

Essential Gear

Helmet!

Early season climbs may require crampons and axe.

Trekking poles are recommended for picking through the rock but not mandatory.
