General Info

the Agostini on the west wall is one of the finest way to spend half of a day while you are relaxing at Alimonta Hut.
Better to climb it in the afternoon when the sun (hoping in a blue sky) warms the rock.
You can start without backpack, wearing directly all the gear you need (very little).
Coming down is easy and fast

Approach

from rif. Alimonta, in half an hour with a good path

Route Description

Attach little on the left of the lower point of the wall.
Follow all the chimneys and fissures slightly crossing the wall from right to left.
After some chimneys you reach a terrace.
Over a small roof enter in a chimney and come out through a hole.
Straight on till the first summit (S).
Descend 10 meters by a chimney (SE), then some metres (N) under a little jutting out wall "passo della bottiglia".
Climb it and start the descend or go to the N summit (easy).
Going down use the "sentiero Quintavalle"

Essential Gear

rope, 3 carabiniers
nails on site
