From the airport take freeway GC 1 northward to the exit Telde, turn westward onto GC 10 and then in Telde take GC 130 in the direction of Pico de las Nieves. Some 2 km after the intersection with side road to Pico de las Nieves take GC 600 in the direction of Ayacata. Roque Nublo can't be missed: there are lots of signs.

From the parking lot at La Goleta (1578m) take the broad northward bound trail that climbs slowly through the sparsely populated pine forest. After some 15min you get to an intersection from which you turn left and climb steeply upwards to the Tablon de Nublo.

On the left hand side you can see the Rock of "El Fraile" (The Friar), which perfectly looks like a praying monk. Another 15 minutes take you to the plateau from which you have a perfect view into and around the huge Caldera de Tejeda.
