Route Description
Altitude gain: 65m
Duration: <1h
Difficulty: 5
Trailhead: La Goleta
Though no climber myself, I found it very interesting to wath the climbers on their way up the vertical wall. There are several routes , the easiest on of them, first climbed way back in 1933. This is called the Via Alemana and is of difficulty 5. It climbs verticaly a little left of the southeastern corner of Roque Nublo.
The rock seems to have enough grip and there are lots of bolts (every two meters). So bring enough Carabines! In summer the routes can be pretty crowded and there's not much space on top. You might want to start out early.
Essential Gear
Harness, climbing shoes, some 100 - 150m of rope and up to 40 carabines.
