Approach


From the Amberger hut:
Follow the marked trail to the Schwarzenbergferner. Follow this glacier until the highest north-eastern part. From there towards the ridge and along this ridge to the summit. (4 1/2 h).

From the Franz-Senn-Hütte:
Follow the marked way to the Alpeiner Ferner. Follow the glacier until you reach a point south of the Nördliche Wildspitze. Via the Wildgratscharte (3168 m) to the Scwarzenbergferner and the as descibed above.

For the glacier: Crampons, ice axe and rope. Mind the crevasses! No gear is necessary for the scrambling.
