Approach

Take the Shephard's Pass trail to Mahogany Flats. A couple switchbacks up from here it is possible to gain the East Ridge without too much bushwacking.

Route Description

Some class 2 leads up to the rockier upper ridge, which is class 3 & 4, before easing off near the summit. Descend the East Chute that drops down to the low point of the Shedhard's Pass trail in the Shephard's Creek drainage.

Essential Gear

An ice ax might be nice in the early seaon for the descent. Or skis.
