Approach
The starting point for the climbing on Skuta from the north side is Ceska koca. Ceska koca is approachable over many possibilities. One possibility is over the Stularjeva planina (meadow) and the second one is harder and goes thourgh the big ravine Zrelo.

Route Description
From Ceska koca the marked path goes first a bit towards west, but on scree slopes soon turns towards south. We gain heigth, approaching north walls of the main ridge. On the altitude of around 1800m there is a crossroads. The right path ( Kremzar route) goes on Kocna and to Grintovec over the Dolska skrbina (2270m), while the left one is our option.
You are ascending over the steep scree below the north face of Grintovec and soon you come below the face of Mlinarsko sedlo (pass) (2334m). You will climb it in some crossings the face over the shelves and in climbing some small walls. In about one hour you will come over the face and you will be on Mlinarsko sedlo. You will continute in the east direction.
You have two possibilities. You can go on Skuta over the ling ridge of Dolgi hrebet (2473m) or over the easier possibility that goes over the south slopes of Dolgi hrbet below the south face of it. The possibility over the Dolgi hrbet is hard ferrata. Over both possibilities you will come on the notch between Dolgi hrbet (on the left) and Struca (on the right).
From the notch you turn on the right and continue hiking in the east direction over the west ridge and slopes of Skuta. On the right side you see the beautiful Struca and soon you come over the last slopes on the summit of Skuta.
You descend by the same route or you can choose any other possibilities but be careful how hard they are and how long (check others description of the routes on Skuta).
