The starting point is the Ljubelj pass at the parking place. From there you go in the NE direction by the lonely hotel and you come on the start of the marked route.

Route Description

Hiking on the east ridge of Begunjscica.

You start walking and first meters you will walk in the forest. Then you cross some ravines on the east slopes of the Begunjscica where you must climb a bit. Now you come to the tunnels and you will go through two or three tunnels and you will cross through the forest thelong SE slopes of Begunjscica before you come on the pass Preval (1311m) on the south side of Begunjscica.

From the Preval pass you will reach the east ridge of Begunjscica over the south slopes (forest and grassy slopes) and then over the nice east ridge to the top of Begunjscica.

You descend by the same route or you can choose any other possibilties that bring you back on the Ljubelj pass.
