Approach
From piedra Grande you have to go all the may to the base of jamapa glacier from there you have to traverse to the left side of the muntain crossing el "Filo del chichimeco", fro thre you have a look of the whole east glacier.
Route Description
After crossing "El filo del chichimeco" walt all the way to the base of the glacier is about 200 meters of lenth in about 45º the exit to the crater rim can be from 45 to 70º depending in which way you go out to the left is more steep, when you get to the crater rim you must travesrse to the summit to the left joining the last zone of la ruta sur. Descend via jamapa glacier

In the traverse of el filo del chichimeco watch out for rock fall when i was there it was very severe 2 times got in the middle of rock avalanches
