Approach

Start at the Kearsarge Pass Trailhead in Onion Valley. Hike to Kearsarge Pass and then continue on to Charlotte Lake. It's about 8.5 miles from the trailhead to the east side of Charlotte Lake.

Route Description

Head southeast toward the east slope of Mount Bago from the east side of Charlotte Lake. It's about 1 mile xcountry from Charlotte Lake to the summit of Mount Bago.
