Route Description


From Peak Lake continue into the cirque for one mile to the upper end of Lake 10740. Head NE to the G-4 saddle seperating Split from 12,845' G-4. From the saddle, cross a tip of Mammoth Glacier (uncrevassed in this section) and continue up the wide face to the summit on fun Class 3 rock.
