Approach

From Schneebergdörfl continue via Schwabenhof to Schrattental (Schratten valley)

Lower Part of Schneidergraben

Route Description

Always stay in Schneidergraben. 2 short climbs at the end of the ascent.
In spring (under good conditions - firn) a nice ski descent.

The climb of the upper part of Schneidergraben (above of Grafensteig up to the plateau) is not recommended due to security reasons. (All markings have been removed)

Schneidergraben Ski Descent

Essential Gear

Good shoes, good weather protection (wind, rain, snow etc.)
crampons and ice axe in winter

Miscellaneous Info

might be quite dangerous in winter
sometimes a nice steep ski descent in spring (!!) - IMHO Breite Ries (and variants) and Lahning Ries offer better ski decents
