Approach
Very easy and short (about 50 minutes) from the upper station of "Fuente Dé" cable car (through the "Horcadina de Covarrobres") till the SE face.
Route Description
Long classic rock route of moderate difficulty. First climb by the french P. Forn and B. Trouvé on the 18th august 1967.
Difficulty level (U.I.A.A.): M.D. inf. (maximum V+).
Length: 750 m (about 20 pitches).
Timing of the activity: 5 - 7 hours. You have to plan 2 hours more walking till the summit. The itinerary by the arête sometimes isn't clear enough. There are two different possibilities to get the arête: from the base of the red wall (before the final chimney) or from the top of this.
In winter the conditions of the route and therefore the difficulty depend on the snow conditions.
Essential Gear
Standard climbing rack is recomended (two ropes, rock shoes, helmet, nuts and friends). There is no need to use pitons (there is some in place along the route).
