Route Description

Overview

The Batteriekopf, 1311 m, is the neighbour summit of Rothenbachkopf, only 750 m distant in the south. The ascent provides nice views on the Wildenstein lake and the Thann valley. The summit is located just over the farm-inn Steinwasen.

Route Description

- Batteriekopf can be easily climbed from Rothenbachkopf in 1/2 hour by following the crest in southern direction.

- The Herrenberg route climbes the summit

- The Steinwasen route leads also to the summit
