Approach
The starting point is the hut called Dom v Kamniski Bistrici or if the macadam road is in good conditions you can drive to the parking space on the plateau Jermanca where is also the main starting point for the marked route on Kamnisko sedlo from the south side.

Route Description
From the parking space on Jermanca you follow the marked route for Kamnisko sedlo and when you come on the altitude around 1100 meters you turn directly up in the forest and start ascending in the steep forest. It is the best that you are looking for best passages. Soon you must look for passages in dwarf pine and this will take some time. But when you come out from dwarf pine you have to climb over some rocks and soo you reach the summit of the airy Kaptan (1943m). Then is the best that you descend down on the notch on the north side of Kaptan with help of rope.
From the notch you continue the long crossing to the summit of Brana over the south ridge.
You descend by the normal marked route and then turn back from the hut on Kamnisko sedlo to the south side.
Essential Gear
Good hiking shoes, rope, helmet and a lot of water.
