Approach

Exit the last (lowest) campsite in Lily Pad Campground and follow a faint trail up to and along the base of the cliff. The climb is sixty meters or so from the campground.

Route Description

Begin fifteen meters or so to the right of When you Wishon a Star. Climb up and left following a thin crack. Small wires or Rps can be placed in this crack. A directional at the bottom may keep them from lifting. Climb above the crack and then step left to the bolt. Easier climbing above the bolt leads to a two bolt anchor. The protection bolt was placed by hand, from stance, on lead.
All of the bolts are two inch by 3/8’s Fixe wedges.

First Ascent by Bob Walton and John Miller on 6/22/05

Essential Gear

Small wires and Rps are the only equipment which will work in the initial crack. Needless to say, they're a bit temperamental. A tight directional off the big log may keep them from lifting.
