Approach

Hike northwest up the road from the parking area described on the main page. Going directly from the parking lot across the meadow will put you on private property. When past the American Mill entrance head west through the trees to the base of the route.

Route Description

This is about as straightforward a climb as it gets. Climb the wide chute to the ridge and make your way to the summit. Consider digging a snow pit before entering the gut of the chute as this area sees a lot of wind loading. Spring is the time for a safe ascent/descent. Maximum steepness is 45 degrees.

I can't seem to find my other pictures so I'll have to ski it again in the spring. Anybody wanting to join me can drop me an email.

Vertical Gain: 2200'
Round Trip Mileage: 4 miles
Continuous Vertical Descent(Ski): 2000"

Essential Gear

Crampons and ice axe, not really mandatory but if you get an early start and are climbing on firm/frozen snow they sure help.
