Approach

Montezuma's Tower is an amazing, free standing pinnacle of rock rising 130'.This is one of the best moderate routes in Colorado.

Route Description

2 pitches. 130'

Pitch 1: Begin at the base of the narrow North Ridge. Climb past two eyebolts to a small ramp. Sling a pothole, and climb past another fixed piton and an eyebolt to an airy belay perch with a two bolt anchor.

Pitch 2: Work a crack, pass an eyebolt, and top out on a two bolt anchor.

Descend on rappel with double ropes.
