Approach

Follow the directions on the main page. From the winter trailhead it's 4.5 miles to the start of the west ridge. Follow the Mosquito pass road to the base of the West Ridge. A 4x4 will cut it to 0 miles. Passenger cars might be able to make it. Subarus should be able to make it with good line choice.

Route Description

From the parking pullout spot the faint trail. This is it. There is some scrambling at the beginning with a few class 3 moves but nothing too hard. From the Paking area it's a straightforward 1 mile hike to the summit.

600 Vertical Gain
2 miles Roundtrip

Essential Gear

Hiking Shoes and a Pair of Legs are mandatory. Summer is the time for this one. Though the route is moderate and could be done in the winter it is not advised as the approach travels through numerous avalanche runouts. However if you have the snow skills it might be fun
