Approach

From the base of the Waterrock Knob Parking Area, find the good unnamed use trail on the right-hand side of the guard-rail.

Route Description

Follow the unnamed trail a short distance to a box on a pole. The good use trail continues pasx the box through the dense balsam forest to the summit of an unnamed knoll. Once you arrive at this knoll continue up the ridge to the blackberry-laden summit of Yellowface. There are no views on the summit of this heath bald. The like is just under a mile from the BRP

Essential Gear

Sturdy hiking shoes/boots
Raingear is essential
Ripstock fabrics are good for this environment because of the dense foliage which seems to, at times, attack passer-bys.
