This route is a circle which you can climb from both sides or do it from only one side and turn back from the summit!
You can start the route from Tatranská Polianka (1005m) or from Stary Smokovec (1010m).
I've climbed from Tatranská Polianka and it's a very beautyful but not to short route! It's wonderful to see the sun going down on the other side of Sedlo Prielom (2290,4m) from Zbojnická Chata (1960m).

Route Description

If you start at Tatranská Polianka yuo have to follow the green mark until you reach Polsky Hreben (2200m), before reaching Polsky Hreben you can have a rest at Sliezsky dom (1680m). It's about 2 hours to Sliezsky dom from Tatranská Polianka and another two hours to Polsky Hreben from Sliezsky dom. The green sign ends at Polsky Hreben and the yelow takes you to the summit of Vychodná Vysoká (2428,6m). The green sign is an easy one the yellow is harder a bit with many rocks and chains! It takes 45 minutes to reach the summit and 30 minutes back.
You have to come back to Polsky Hreben from the top because there is no other way down only the yellow one! You can continue your route to Zbojnická Chata (1960m) and to Stary Smokovec (1010m) on the blue line.

If you come from Stary Smokovec you can get to Hrebienok (1265m) by "lanovka" (cable railway) or on foot! On foot it's not more than one hour!
From Hrebienok you can reach Zbojnická Chata in three hours starting on the red line and changeing to the blue after Rainerova Chata (1250m). From Zbojnická chata the blue line brings you to Polsky Hreben in two hours through Sedlo Prielom (a col at 2290,4m height).

From Tatranská Polianka or Stary Smokovec the whole route takes at about 10-12 hours if you walk the circle.

Essential Gear

In the summer only good clothes are necessary for the weather accomodations. Walking sticks are not useless!
In the early season crampons are needed for there is much snow but an ice axe or ropes are not needed.
