Approach
See main page.
Route Overview
The east face is extremely steep. The south and west faces appear to be much more moderate.
North slope (class 2, 3 or 4): Take your pick. There’s a class 2 use trail/route that can be picked up near the eastern edge of the slope. Alternately, pick any number of lines elsewhere on the slope/face. Most of these lines are in the class 2-4 range.
Essential Gear
Though we had a rope with us, there was no need to use it for the north slope routes we did. That said, I would certainly recommend carrying a rope (length depends, of course, upon which route/line you to do), some slings, and perhaps a few misc. pieces of gear as well for the various other routes on the peak. Rock shoes would be a benefit on any route other than the use trail on the north side of the peak.
As always, don’t forget sunscreen, a hat, water, etc.
