Approach

Start from village Tolminske Ravne.Local road from Tolmin (10 km).

Route Description

We start in Tolminske Ravne village.Round rut come to moutain pasture Plazje where is splitting of way.Straight takes lighter but longer way while goes to left steeper but shorter way.Both arrive to vast plateau and Koca na planini Razor (hut on moutain pasture Razor),1315m is nearby.Near hut is nice bivouac.We go by boards and marks towards north trough rare forest.We are above timberline soon.We see little valley on right side , that he drive us to deep Krnica (1656m) underneath summit of Vogel (1922m).From here have aviable two ways.We come to the right on southern ridge (nice view on Rodica group) and round him on summit.Or we go to ridge to the left round exposed slope and we reach summit round northwestern ridge.Tremendous view from summit (Krn group,Bohinj group,Triglav and Triglav group,Karavanke Alps,Kamnisko-Savinjske Alps,Rodica group).On clear day can see Adriatic Sea!

Essential Gear

From Krnica to summit you need crampons and an ice axe probably (depend upon snow) in winter period.
