Approach

The approach is quite easy. Find the Two Towers at the base of the SE Ridge (these are power transmission towers, not the Tolkien kind). There is a gravel road not shown on the map off the main road in Jackass Canyon that will take you to there directly.

Route Description

Climb 1,500ft up the SE Ridge to the summit ridge. Follow the ridge to the summit, dodging small obstacles to the left or right as needed. The entire ridge can be navigated at class 3 or less save for two class 4-5 problems encountered when nearing the summit.

The East Side route is an enjoyable scramble, probably better than this route. But the climb along the summit ridge is a rather fun scramble too, so it makes for a good loop route.

Essential Gear

None needed.
