OverviewThis involves a mega traverse of the 3 Sisters. Basically an enchainment of 6 climbing routes up the volcanoes.
Some have added Broken Top and other smaller satellites for enhanced difficulty.
My climb enchained the following routes:
-southeast spur of south ridge of North Sister (descent south ridge)
-north ridge of Middle Sister (descent southeast ridge)
-northwest ridge of South Sister (descent south side trail)Getting ThereMost knock of the North Sister first since this is the most difficult.
Access from either Obsidian or Pole Creek. If possible, arrange a shuttle to meet at Devil's Lake (south sister trailhead).Route DescriptionFollowing various route options on the peaks, traverse over the North Sister, Middle Sister, and South Sister.
There will likely be some glacier travel, steep snow (45 deg), and volcanic scree encountered. The North Sister ascent involves the most challenging terrain of the route.
Each route description can be found separately.
