Route Description

From the Paso de San Francisco one cans still some hundred meters approach to the mountain. One holds oneself first in southern direction, climbs an elevation to descend again some meters and ascends then diagonally at the North Slope. At a height of approx. 5.650 meters continue in zigzag, until one reaches a depression, where one can already see the summit in the south. At the end of that depression one keeps somewhat left and climbs then the steep structure of summit with loose scree.

Essential Gear

Warm clothes are required since it is a high altitude climb. Depending on the weather and snow fall crampones might be necessary.
