Overview

A wonderful Climb on the Southeast slabs of Grey Rock

Getting There

Approach by the Greyrock summit trail. As it skirts around the southeast face Either bushwack up hill or hike farther and hike back south. Look for a left facing dihedral and an obvious roof right of the ground.

Route Description

P1: Crux right off the Ground. Climb the Roof and left Facing dihedral to gain easier ground on a shallow intermitent crack above. Belay in a crack about 100 ft. up.

P2: Continue up the cracks and either pull the roof or skirt right around it. Bring lots of Slings for this pitch. 200 ft.

P3-4: Easy climbing to the summit any line you pick will pretty much have good pro and climbing.

Essential Gear

Standard Rack of Nuts and Cams up to #3 camlot but you can get away with up to #2. Tri cams can be a nice supliment to cams. Leave your hexs at home and be sure to bring a lot of runners.
