The highway to the Iguenouane top, so called because of the waterfall at it basis.

A lot of way are possible to reach the top, the most konwn are :

. from the tizi n'tachedirt pass at 3200 m in the E direction
. from the likemt at 3555 m and then following the E crete

Plan a good day for this way, quite long and hard even if there's no major technical requirement.

Getting There

From the Tacheddirt hut, follow the route in the E direction which is going to the tizi n'tacheddirt pass. At the river, go in the W on the right side, climb directly to a waterfall which is visible from tacheddirt

Route Description

Before getting to the waterfall, take the right side to go round and then turn at your left to join the N coomb which is following the river climbing in the S direction. You will join the basis of the Iguenouane walls at 3200 m through S3/S4 level.

On your left hand, follow the rocks to reach the Iguenouane ridge through the large NW coomb.

Another way is to go left from the waterfall to climb through the secondary NW coomb. It will bring you directly at 3200 m to the wall basis.
Shorter than the first one, but harder ( S4 ).

The descent is absolutely wonderfull in this big coomb, you can reach the small route which brough you to the waterfall and then get to the tacheddirt hut
