Overview

Very similar to Wham Ridge in quality and type of climbing.

Getting There

Take the trail up the Vestal Creek drainage. After the second willow meadow high in the drainage you can follow a faint trail up another steep forested section. At the top of the steep section head right across grassy ledges and a boulder field directly for the face.

Route Description

The left side of the face provides 5.4 climbing, very similar to the climbing on Wham Ridge. The middle and right side of the face appears to have much more technical climbing with several vertical to overhanging sections to negotiate. However, the climbing does not appear to be greater than 5.8/9ish. Multiple options for descent.

Essential Gear

A set of nuts and a couple of mid size hexes.
