Overview Beautifull ski tour , only sometimes in good condition . Often hard wind moves and accumulate the snow in the leeward zone and clean on the ridge .
In reason of this pay attention of advalanche .
Getting There Como - SS340 Regina till Menaggio - Piano Porlezza- Carlazzo- S.Nazzaro Val Cavargna. From S.Nazzaro village take the little off-road that crosses the village and take you to the small village of Revolè.
Route Description Way up : from Revolè 1050 m. follow the off-road that go towards Val Piazza to North and then to East North for km 1 c. just to cross the bridge to 1100 m ca (end of the off-road). Go up to Monti Fous 1150 m c. and in succession towards North to Molino and Monti Zartigna 1328 m 1h about from Revolè . From Monti Zartigna go up further to North ( right of the point quoted 1569 m ), then towards NNE till about high 1700-1800 m . Continue along the large SW ridge of the summit. Follow it in order to reach the q. 2118 m ; continue towards East till under the last short cliff about 50 m under the top . Leave here the skis and climb the easy steeper and sharpenned ridge to the summit .
Descending : by the same way ; with very good snow conditions it is possible come down directly between q the 2118 and the top, on the steep depositor South , in order then towards about 1700 m to travers straight towards right ( W ) to resume the climb way.
This possibility , is S4 difficulty.
