Having the 1:50 000 map (See the Maps section of Introduction to Central Alborz) can add much more detail. You will need Sheet 6262 II Gajereh for Labashm Pass and Sheet 6262 I Marzan Abad for Basham Sardi & Jir Asbi Ow Peaks.

At the Labashm Pass, Basham Sardi will be visible to your northwest and you can see the route that you will have to take. Directly to your north, you will see the gentle slopes of Point 3345 m. Head northwest and then north traversing the slopes of Point 3345 m until you see the rocky walls of the Shamzar (3711 m) & Siah Band (3644 m) Peaks directly to your north. You will at this point come across a trail that traverses the slopes of the Shamzar and the Siah Band Peaks below their walls. Follow this trail below the mentioned walls until you reach the 3430 m saddle between Basham Sardi & Shamzar/Siah Band Peaks. The trail seems to continue down into the valley to the north. Do not follow the trail anymore.

At the saddle, turn west and follow the ridgetop toward Basham Sardi. This area is very rocky. You will not encounter any technical difficulties but will have to find your way through the cliffs and spires. This will be time consuming and you will end up going up and down quite a bit.

You will soon see a prominent tower-like formation known as Borz. Head up the slopes to near the summit of Borz and bypass the top of it on the south side of it.

After Borz, the rocky areas end and you can then go up the steep southeastern slopes of Basham Sardi past a false summit to reach its top.
Note the twin summits of the Jir Asbi Ow peak immediately to your northwest. Find the notch between the two summits of it. You will have to go there.

Avoid the walls on the northeast and north sides of the summit of Basham Sardi. Head down the western slopes of Basham Sardi and go to the 3870 m saddle with the Jir Asbi Ow summit and then follow any path to the top of Jir Asbi Ow.
If you plan to continue the ridgetop northwest to the Veravasht Peak, please be ware that your only option seems to be to descend the steep and scree filled couloir below the notch between the two summits of Jir Asbi Ow. All other routes seem to be blocked by walls below the summit of Jir Asbi Ow.
