The route from France had the trailhead in the Refuge du Portillon.

You had two options to climb the peak across the Col Inferior of Literola linking with the routes os spanish side: Valley of Literola and Literola's ridge. The third posibility is the access across the Col Superior of Literola in the upper part of Literola's ridge and it's the easiest and most frequented (french normal route) and it's writed below.

Time to summit: 2h (+ 4h 30m the previous day to the Refuge).
Slope: 675m

We'll begin in the Refuge du Portillon (2571m)crossing the dam to the other side (East). Initially the route it's the same of the Col Inferior of Literola, access to valley of Benasque and good signaled with cairns. We'll leave very soon this path (left) walking to right side. We'll leave as well the lake across bordering some rocky spuns. We'll reach a terrace (snow frequent in spring and early in summer) and a morraine with a lot of stones. We'll entry now to left side to the little valley, with easy terrain to reach the Col Superior de Literola ( 3050m ). We'll follow now the ridge evident in direction to summit (N.) across some rock-climbs of I and I+ generally in the right side of the ridge. A terrace (walk-up exposed) go now in right side to get newly the ridge and across some easy climb with the use of the hands we'll reach the summit of Perdiguero (3222m).

Essential Gear

Crampons and ice-axe in spring and early in summer.
Rope it's not necessary for mountaineers. The hikers and begginers need the companion of a mountaineer or even the use of a rope in the exposed stepcrossings.
