Overview Located in Utah's Logan Canyon, Last Chance Falls is a good lead, though should only be done as part of a larger Logan Canyon ice climbing trip. There are many routes in Logan Canyon worth doing, and this one is secluded, has a steep approach, and is only one pitch long.
Still Last Chance Falls is a great lead for someone breaking into ice climbing (it was the page author's 2nd) and its location in the canyon is superb!
Getting ThereFrom the town of Logan, head upLogan Canyon (Hwy 89) and take the Right-hand Fork up .8 miles to a picnic area about 500 yards past a green sighting pipe. The route is south of the road, across the stream, and high on the slope in a notch in the cliffs.
Route DescriptionClimb steep ice to the final near-vertical 25 foot column. Rap off the tree at the top.
